The first edition of the Fertility and Assisted Reproduction Workshop was hold in Gijon the 18th and 19th of October. This event that took place in Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura in Gijon, was directed to gynaecologists, urologists, other specialties doctors, residents, nurses and other members from the reproductive medicine area.
Some of the most important speakers in all of the scientific areas were invited, professionals coming from different parts of Spain with prestigious national and international reputation in fertility world. Among the invited speakers we could find Dr. Enrique Olaya, that shared his vision about how important technology is in fertility and assisted reproduction.
The manager of VITA Reproductive Medicine highlighted “ how important technology is in our specialty and how all along our history, it’s been the feature that allow us to improve in applicable techniques, fertility knowledge, monitoring and cycle control that patients undergo”. To finish his speech Dr. Olaya explained to the assistants how technology is going to improve our field with new advances that are yet to come.
This workshop suppose an opportunity to share, with other specialties, all advances and possibilities that provide new reproductive technology. This underscore the commitment of being leading edge in technology, that is one of the main pillars of IMED hospitals.
